Here is a step-by-step guide on how to secure your private files using My Lockbox. Step 1: Download and Install My Lockbox
Visit the official FSPro Labs website to download the latest version of My Lockbox. Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts.
Restart your computer if the installer prompts you to do so to complete the driver integration. Step 2: Set Your Master Password Launch My Lockbox for the first time. Enter a strong master password that you will not forget. Confirm the password.
Provide a valid email address and a hint to help recover your password if you lose it. Click OK to save your credentials. Step 3: Select Your Private Folder
A prompt will appear asking you to select the folder you want to hide. Click Browse to navigate through your computer’s directory. Select the specific folder containing your private files.
Click OK. The chosen folder will immediately disappear from File Explorer. Step 4: Lock and Unlock Your Files
To Reveal Your Folder: Open the My Lockbox shortcut, enter your master password, and click Unlock. Your folder will instantly reappear in its original location.
To Hide Your Folder Again: Open the My Lockbox Control Panel and click Lock, or simply close the program. The folder will vanish again.
